Set in a huge open world, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen presents a rewarding action combat experience. Players embark on an epic adventure in a rich, living world with three AI companions, known as Pawns. These partners fight independently, demonstrating prowess and ability that they have developed based on traits learned from each player. PC users can share these Pawns online and reap rewards of treasure, tips and strategy hints for taking down the terrifying enemies. Pawns can also be borrowed when specific skills are needed to complete various challenging quests.

Hidden Gem

I really only bought this game because it was cheap and had dragons, but lo and behold, it was a hidden gem that I spent many hours enjoying.

Oh Japan, Japan

One of the best action RPGs that i have played. The whole mood is very unique and grim. Bossfights are epic and challenging. (You can cling and climb on bigger bosses) Overall mobs are cool, even normal fights are very satisfying and never gets you bored but if you are underleveled you gonna get yourself killed for sure. Graphics are nothing to mention of but there are very good mods for better quality.

Sword and board, bows and spells!

I bought this because I believed it was a sort of 'Dark souls knock off' but in reality it's much more of a fantasy RPG then that of a punishing fantasy survival.

There are some tough monsters that require tactics and guile with dodges and rolls but each of them are all beatable in their own way, a solid story and decent graphics help tie this game up into a nice package that makes for a good game.

Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes fantasy RPG's with elements of freedom.

A good game but not a 10/10

I have both liked and swore vehemently at the game, the fact that I swore at it so much is the reason I bother to write about it.

This is a good game and here is why; exploring areas is always a good thing and this game lets me explore right until I find the Drake which soundly killed me.
Fighting epic monsters , there overpowered and cheap with there moves, but I spent some time just hunting them down, that dam drake come to mind, I like the idea of high level monsters making you think twice.
Class crossover , this creates a persistence that makes me want to play an archer then go back to another class.

This is an RPG ,just as addictive as many RPGs I have played : it plays well, the PC version suffers no large bugs I can see(ui mouse cant cant complain)

these 10/10 rating just need to go, as this game is not one of those; it is a good game.

Good Rpg

Quite hard to get into since it¨s so big and there isn¨t much of an guide but is still an robust rpg with warrior mages etc. so if you like rpg get this 1

Crossbred Fantasy Epic

This game brings together a mess of action rpg fantasy. You get crazy moves to bring down enemies , like grabbing and climbing up bosses, while your companions distract and aid. Anther great feature of this game is the companions. Early in the game you are able to choose a companion that best suits your play-style. Classes are custom made along with the power switch out at inns how you play. Wide range of enemies, areas and customization provide one with a diverse replay experience .

Stunning....

To first say that..... I HATE JRPGS... The only ones I care for are Final Fantasy (The Older SNES ones and up to 10) and Earthbound... But this blew me away. So I definitely recommend it. The Pawn system is amazing new idea that no other game has really thought of. The story is good, it is decently paced and is full of deep lore. A lot of great game mechanics that are not typical for an RPG. I highly encourage you to purchase this game.
