    Ugly
expect only one thing from games to be noted fairly: to actually work. This isn't 1995 anymore. PC games should work on release, especially if you apply AAA premium tag price to them. The game doesn't work; heavy framerate drop, stutters and even freeze.

    Review Title
This game is a fraud, regardless of the massive amount of poor performance optimization - the developers flatly lied about content. The previews and interviews explained many many other features within a ever expanding world, with the environment around you non-static. That... is... all... crap. Nearly everything is static and stays, ships by planets are supposed to move around, they just sit there. Textures were overlapped over certain areas by a 5 year old, I've seen sections of trees horribly misplaced that look broken.

I spent 5 hours trying to get this game to run smooth with my 980 GTX and i5 4670k. I "enjoy" an average of 20-30 FPS 80% of the time unless you're inside a building. Tweaking the settings ruins the visual beauty that I thought I paid for, with a PC that pumps out Witcher 3 on all maxed settings without a hiccup, this is unacceptable. Studdering and staggering frames by just running through a forest just shows you this was about money and not the players.

Do not buy this game, ever. It may come down to a $20 sale but it's not worth it. The devs flat out lied and misled people over content that was promised as free.

More info on the lies from the devs (yes, they did change their mind about many features and free or paid DLC, diregard the ignorant review previously):
    http://www.gamezone.com/news/no-man-s-sky-founder-backtracks-could-get-paid-dlc-3442515

Sean Murray promised there would be no paid DLC, we would recieve free updates since we had already paid $60 for the game. That was last week. Looks like that's already changed as Sean has gone back on that and said that Paid DLC is possible.

Its actually not as bad as people put it out to be, mostly its people who dont know how to change the settings to get it running that are complaining.

The game itself is kinda fun if you are into the exploring endless space with lots of travel.

The developers never lies, its the people who buy into the hype without know what they are actually buying that are complaining now. Kinda sad that they dont buy what they know they like, they buy whatever the media wants them to instead
