The Wasteland series impressive and innovative lineage has been preserved at its very core, but modernized for the fans of today with Wasteland 2. Immerse yourself in turn-based tactical combat that will test the very limits of your strategy skills as you fight to survive a desolate world where brute strength alone isn't enough to save you. Deck out your Ranger squad with the most devastating weaponry this side of the fallout zone and get ready for maximum destruction with the RPG-style character advancement and customization that made the first Wasteland so brutal. Save an ally from certain death or let them perish – the choice is yours, but so are the consequences.

    Still enjoying it!
A true to it's genre old school RPG, like the original wasteland and fallout 1 & 2 this is a solid top down tactical turn based RPG where your choices have consequences, while having played the old titles will fill you with nostalgia this game gives you more than enough to easily enjoy it even if you never played those titles.
I've put in over 60+ hours and still haven't completed it, kinda hoping it never ends.

    THE GAME!!!
I must be dead and I am in heaven.... First Divinity: Original Sin, now Wasteland 2. Old-school RPG lovers should not miss this one. Epic battles, difficult encounters, engaging story. A must-buy for everyone who likes this genre.
Create your crew from look to skills, traverse a VERY open world and make choices the way you want...expect consequences though. From having a lead scientist kick you out of a facility to an entire town attacking you...or you can be the good guy... boring.!!!

    So wasteland 2?
Didnt finished it yet, im going to update my review once i finished it. So far is awsome, I didnt quite enjoy the fact that you have 4 characters, I would rather to have NPC companions with background and story and only one main character. Aside from that the game is simply awsome, nowadays games are made for ppl...lets say, not too bright. I feel that this game is the closest thing we can get of a Fallout 3 actually made by the ppl how made fallout 1,2. I find the game kinda easy tho, even in hard. If you have played fallout 1/2 before and you think yourself as a hardcore gamer, I would reccomend the most difficult setting. Aside from that and the camera which i has the issue that if you zoom it would change the camera angle as well the game is awsome. <3 Brian Fargo.

THIS SHOULD BE A NO BRAINER FOR FALLOUT FANS
This is a great game. I have played the original Wasteland and all of the Fallout Series, and this game did not disappoint.

It's important to note that Wasteland was the original inspiration for the Fallout Series, as many of the story threads are similar to ones in Wasteland and would seem outright plagiarized in some moments if not for that fact. Yet, even with the similarities, its not the same.

Things are a little different in the Wasteland. Where Fallout can lead itself to the quirky and humorous, Wasteland is far darker and more cynical. The consequences of your actions in the Wasteland have a greater effect--you will NOT be able to save every person. There WILL be innocent bystanders. That's just how it is and you have to deal with it. However, that all just adds to replay value. More text was written for Wasteland 2 than all of the Lord of the Rings novels combined. That's a lot of story!

The controls took a little getting used to for me as I was much more used to first-person perspectives, but being able to control a squad of up to 7 characters was pretty awesome. Each with a depth of specialty skills and attributes that made almost everyone unique. But that's how I CHOSE to build my squad. You can tailor each character any way you like with a myriad of options.

Its your Apocalypse, what will you do with it?

    Because War never changes...
