    A poetic swansong to Games for Windows and the last major deed of Lionhead Studios
    A few words about the game...

    You may say what you want about Fable III - yes the combat is basic at best, gameplay is "everything and nothing" meaning that while the contents of the main storyline are pretty solid sidequests and activities can be very tedious. But Fable III is the best in series, story and artisticwise the most mature installment. A pure joy to watch & play it as well as to listen to it. There is some unfulfilled potential, but hey they are not simply making RPGs like this anymore.

    Sadly you cannot no longer obtatin gold won in Fable Coin Golf (Windows Phone game) nor any special items in the Sanctuary of Fable III since the servers for delisted FIII are down permanently. GFWL achievements which merged into Xbox Live still unlock work fine though.

    Experience with Gaming Dragons online retailer:

    + a working key for Steam with GFWL key included, yeey!
    + no hassle with purchase or getting it running whatsoever

    - Not cheap game by any means. It is a Steam key for a delisted game, so there will be always an element of scarcity and thus a higher price in play. Still, GDragons shop (outside of gem rewards) does not offer any relevant incentive why to buy from GDragons and not from somewhere else pricewise...

    - Not fault of Gaming Dragons, but two infamous Fable III DLCs (namely Traitor's Keep Quest Pack and Understone Quest Pack) are not included. You will get just the base game for PC. The only remaining place to obtain DLCs them is Xbox Live Marketplace and that is for Xbox 360/Xbox One only.

    FINAL VERDICT
    I recommend both the game and purchasing it from this site if you do not mind to pay more for rare games.

    A jem in my library
    I have played it on my xbox 360 but i wanted it in my pc games library as well.An intertemporal game.

    Wonderful.
    Fable 3 is truly a pearl. I have discovered it by total random chance and it's marvelous. The story is awesome, the sidequest are intresting for most of it. Really, play this game, you won't regret it!

    One of the best Roleplaying Games ever made!
    Usually I don't write reviews, but for this game I have to make an exception. Fable 3 is a more than worthy successor to Fable 2 and 1, both which were able to fascinate gamers all over the world for hours and hours to come. Seen from a technical perspective, the graphics seem outdated. But the storyline and the interaction with the game world are the gems on which this game really thrives. In combination with the great character development, which is done fluently by the decisions made along the line, this game still is able to bring hours and days of fun to your gaming heart.
