Nether is a first-person urban survival gaming experience unlike any other. Nether forces players to make quick life-saving decisions in an unforgiving environment. In this post-apocalyptic urban world, death is waiting around every corner, at the top of high-rise buildings, and in the grasp of powerful teleporting creatures known as Nethers. To navigate this high-tension environment, players must use skill and craft in order to obtain food, weapons, supplies, and other resources necessary to survive in a desolate and dangerous city. Players will need to choose whether or not to team up with others or go at it solo against the Nethers, other players, and unpredictable, treacherous world objectives. In the end, players must decide if they will Prey or Pray.

1. A vast and vertical urban/city environment, where players can access nearly all of the buildings, including multi-story skyscrapers

1. Removed bottom 3 character slots in order to greatly speed up player spawn times


2. Added informational message and fix "spinning camera" while waiting to spawn


3. Improved server stability, should no longer crash every few hours

12. Fixed some login problems related to nonstandard characters in username/password


13. Fixed some bugs with the chat window disappearing at inappropriate times

15. Rebalanced level tables to make it slightly harder to reach max level


16. Crawling/proning should no longer allow you to clip the camera through the ground


17. Speed up charge attack for all weapons


18. Added full/empty server filters in the server list


19. Prevent the player from attempting to join full servers by greying out the play button


20. Fixed black screen issues by reloading the server list if joining a server failed


21. Added error messages when failing to join a server


22. Added several additional graphics options to settings screen - AmbientOcclusion, VSync, DynamicLights, DyanmicShadows, Bloom


23. Player position will now be appropriately saved upon logout


24. If player cannot spawn upon logging back in they will automatically be respawned at a known spawnpoint


25. Launcher will no longer improperly report full hard drive


26. Launcher will now automatically run as administrator to prevent issues with downloading

"Nether is officially in early access, and those brave enough can test their skills in this unique, first-person urban survival game where danger lurks around every corner.

With the early access, players will receive a solid, but not yet final version of the game. It will be fun as hell, but don't expect that it will be perfect 100 percent of the time. Since it is early access, Nether is also not ready to be reviewed.

As one of the first players in the game, your feedback will play a vital role in helping us create the best survival gaming experience possible. We'll be regularly updating Nether with new content, fine-tuning game play and adding community-selected features.
