An interesting title. There are very few games in this time period and genre so it's quite unique. Would recommend.

Ryse Son of Rome review
When i first saw this game was exclusive for the xbox one I was bit sad because it looked cool and there was no point for me buying a console for that game. So when I first saw the PC version announcement I was pretty excited to try it out.
The game has great visuals, nice audio and pretty cool quick time events. The PC version also supports 4k and other goodies compared to the console version.
The gameplay is linear and doesn't really allow much freedom like Shadow of Mordor, thus making the replay value pretty low, the "press R" or "hold X" type moments also make it too simple and boring sometimes.
The fighting system is fun and offers a very casual/console type of gameplay experience and you also have a decent multiplayer option as a bonus. The perks and upgrades make you stronger overtime and you also have lots of achievements and collectibles to get.
I would rate it 3/5 stars
